Pastor Darlene Rodgers

Pastor Darlene resides in Chesapeake, VA.  She is the daughter of Dennis Mason and the late Annie Mason of Virginia Beach, Virginia.

She was baptized at an early age at New Oak Grove Baptist Church, located in Virginia Beach, VA.  Being supportive of her husband she moved her membership to First Baptist Church Crestwood, Chesapeake, VA., which is now “New First Baptist Church Crestwood, The Restoration Center.”

Pastor Darlene has been married for twenty-five years to the Dr. Anthony B. Rodgers, Sr. They have been blessed with two daughters, Angelika Russell of Ohio and LaToya Andrews of Virginia, and one son Anthony Jr., of Alabama.  They have two granddaughters, Laniya of Virginia and Celiya of Ohio, and a grandson, Carter, of Ohio.

Pastor Rodgers is a graduate of Union Kempsville High School.  After graduation, she pursued a career in the medical field.  She has further enriched her spiritual walk with the Lord by enrolling in the Tabernacle Bible College Chesapeake Campus.  At present, Darlene is enrolled with Light University furthering her studies in Biblical Counseling.

Pastor Rodgers works as the Church Administrator, assisting the pastor in accomplishing administrative duties.  She is one of the chairpersons of the Deacons Ministry and Chair of the Women’s Ministry at New First Baptist Church Crestwood, The Restoration Center.  Lady Rodgers was ordained as Elder at New First Baptist Church Crestwood on March 17, 2007, and consecrated as Co-Pastor at The Resurrection Kingdom Fellowship of Churches, in Wilmington, Delaware in April 2007.
Elder Rodgers loves the Lord Jesus Christ with all of her heart.  She believes when you “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you”, you will be truly blessed.
